Since Perth Thunder is an ice hockey team that cares about their community, the club hosts a Teddy Bear Toss during one of their matches every year.

The collected Teddy Bears are donated to Wheelchairs For Kids to bring some joy and Thunder love into the lives of children in need.

How it works:

Buy a Teddy Bear (no bigger than 30cm with no batteries) and make your way over to the Perth Ice Arena on Saturday, 23 August 2025 for a riveting game of ice hockey between Perth Thunder and Melbourne Mustangs.

When Perth Thunder scores their first goal, toss your teddy over the glass and onto the ice!
